Adult Services
Adult Training Program
This program has become an integral part of the rehabilitation
center here at TradeWinds. The program is unique in the sense that it is designed
in cooperation with our Consumers. TradeWinds is committed to Person-Centered Planning,
which entitles every consumer to take an active role in establishing his or her

Art of Living
The Art of Living Day Services Program is a training and social
program that serves adults with more severe and pervasive disabilities.
Consisting of two different training areas, the Art of Living and Family Care,
the program is designed to work with consumers both in group settings and an
individual basis. Individuals are placed in the programs based on their specific
needs per the Individualized Support Plan. Direct Care Staff train in the areas
of academic, reality orientation, sensory stimulation and therapuetic and social
activities; based on the consumer's capabilities.
Our program participants range
from young adults to the elderly and come from nursing homes, group homes and
even their own homes for the daily activity that the programs provide.
TradeWinds Adult Day Care Program
TradeWinds Senior Care Center provides a safe, caring environment for individuals
and their families who do not wish to place their loved ones in a nursing home.
These individuals may be recovering from strokes, broken bones, Alzheimer’s disease
or other dementia, or just need some company and something fun to do during the
day.
RESPITE
TradeWinds Senior Care Program Center also provides respite for the caregiver. It
can be stressful for the caregiver to care of a loved one, work, and care for a
family. TradeWinds Senior Care Program will work with the family to create a schedule
that will take the worry form the caregiver so he/she can work and have some free
quality time.
