Visions
of Indiana
A recent Lighthouse National Survey reveals that one in
six people over the age of 45 reports that they have impaired
vision even when wearing their glasses.
The professional staff of VISIONS of INDIANA at TradeWinds
designs programs to meet the individual needs of each student.
Instruction is available at the TradeWinds Technology Center,
in the community, or at the student’s home.
VISIONS of INDIANA at TradeWinds equips adults and seniors
with the skills, options and equipment they need to be self-sufficient
and independent while working, living, and playing in their
community.
Orientation and Mobility Training
Designed to assist adults who are vision impaired or blind
to develop skills, which will allow them to maximize their
potential for independent travel. This is accomplished through
one-on-one instruction in the following areas.

Personal Adjustment Training
Personal Adjustment Training is designed to assist adults
who are vision impaired or blind to develop skills, which
will allow them to maximize their potential for independent
living. This is accomplished through individual instruction
in the following areas.
Daily Living Skills- From preparing
a meal, to doing one’s laundry, we will teach you tips
and methods for all of life’s daily grind.
